Katarina Roxon Take Gold In Australia

Katarina Roxon, a Paralympic swimmer from this province, took gold in the women's 100 metre Breast Stroke at the 2018 Pan Pacific Para-Swimming Championships in Australia.

Roxon is from Kippens. She won a gold medal at the Rio games in 2016.

In 2017 she swam 200-metre individual medly at the Canadian Swimming Championships and won two medals, one of which was gold.

The Pan Pacific Para Swimming Championships is hosted every 4 years by Australia, Japan, Canada and the US.
