Ongoing Problem at Thrift Store in Corner Brook

There is an ongoing problem at the Thrift Store in Corner Brook. Just about every weekend there are people who discard their trash at the store on Herald Avenue.
This weekend is no exception. On Saturday there people once again stopped at the store and discarded materials outside the store.
The Salvation Army Thrift Store will accept all post-consumer textiles (such as clothing, linens, bedding) that are saleable in store or that can be recycled if they are too worn, missing a piece or torn.
They cannot accept textiles that are wet or contaminated.
The store is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is also a donation box outside that people can place their items in.
Anything left outside the store is discarded.
There is a landfill located on the North Shore Highway. Is open for disposal of waste material from Corner Brook residents.
