This election is a tough one regardless of political stripe.

All leaders of every major political party have made mistakes, either minor or major, or has done or said things in the past that will make even the most staunch of supporters second guess their choice.

When we go to the polling station on election day, the choice will come down to a couple of things... are you voting for the candidate, party, or the leader?

Are you choosing between the lesser of three evils?

The easy option is to not vote. But why waste the right that so many people around the world don't have? If you don't vote then you surrender your right to complain about those who are elected.

When choosing who to vote for in this election, educate yourself on the candidates, talk to family and friends, and stay away from social media as much as possible. Vote for the candidate that is most aligned with your views.
