Pelosi Still Hasn't Sent Articles of Impeachment to the Senate
The U.S. House of Representatives has still not sent the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump to the Senate.
On Friday, Senate majority leader, Mitch McConnell said that the Senate would continue with business as usual while they await the articles to be sent to them.
House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi said that she would not transmit two impeachment articles approved by the Democratic-led House to prompt the start of a trial until the Senate agreed to a fair process.
McConnell said, "They have done enough damage. It is the Senate’s turn now to render sober judgment as the framers envisioned."
