Trudeau Cancels Trip to Barbados to Deal with Rail Disruptions

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has cancelled a planned trip to Barbados to deal with the rail disruptions across the country.

Trudeau met with Marc Miller, Carolyn Bennett, Marc Garneau, Bill Blair, Chrystia Freeland, Pablo Rodriguez and Bill Morneau.

Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has criticized the Liberal government’s response.

Scheer says that government should have ordered the RCMP to end the blockades.

The blockades in support of the Wet’suwet’en Nation have spilled over to the United States with trains stopped in Seattle also.
