85 Killed after Attack at Kabul Airport


Officials say that 85 people are killed including 13 U.S. soldiers after an attack at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul. An additional 18 soldiers were wounded.


ISIS has claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing that occurred outside the gates of the airport.


The United States is working to evacuate Afghans seeking to flee Taliban rule. So far about 100,000 people have been evacuated.


U.S. President Joe Biden vowed to hunt the bombers down.


More attacks are possible.
