A brush fire in Harbour Main on Saturday caused a heavy response

At around 2:00 p.m on Saturday April 12th, Firefighters with the Harbour Main-Chapels Cove-Lakeview Volunteer fire department along with mutual aid from Avondale volunteer fire department as well as Holyrood fire department responded to reports of a brush fire on Harbour drive in Harbour Main.

Apon their arrivals, firefighters made quick work knocking down a fire that was quickly moving towards residential properties.

Firefighters stayed on scene to make sure there were no hot spots that would cause the fire to reignite.
