Action Plan on Early Learning and Child Care Released #nlpoli

Both the Federal and Provincial Government has announced an agreement on early learning and child care in the province.

The province will receive more than $347 million between this year and next year and 2025 to 2026 to implement an ambitious Early Learning and Child Care Action Plan.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Premier Andrew Furey laid out the plan to increase access to child care, improve affordability and improve the quality and inclusivity of early learning and child care programming.

The plan features targets to achieve several shared priorities between the Federal and Provincial Governments.
