Applications Open for Community Transportation Program

Applications are now open for the 2025-26 Newfoundland and Labrador Community Transportation Program.

Funding is available to municipalities, not-for-profit groups and Indigenous governments and communities. Funding up to $100,000 is avialable to develop, implement and evaluate accessible and inclusive community-based transportation programs.

Projects under the program should focus on helping to enhance and expand community transportation services for people who experience barriers to transportation.

Last year, seven recipients were awarded funding. The Provincial Government is investing $300,000 for the 2025-26 transportation program.
