At least one person was sent to hospital following a three vehicle collision involving a parked car in St.John’s on Tuesday

At least one person was sent to hospital following a three vehicle collision at the intersection of Newtown Road and Empire Avenue on Tuesday.

Just before 3:50 p.m on Tuesday emergency services responded to the intersection of Newtown Road and Empire Avenue. When emergency services arrived both vehicles that had collided did sustain moderate damage. The vehicle that was parked on a property did sustain very minor damage.

One person was taken to hospital by ambulance and the other person was treated at the scene it is unknown if the other person was transported to hospital.
