Brush fire in Flatrock near Carbonear

It took resources from the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department, Victoria Volunteer Fire Department, Salmon Cove-Perry’s Cove Volunteer Fire Department, Forest Fire Technicians from the Department of Natural Resources and two water bombers from the department to get a fire under control today.

This afternoon at 2:30 p.m. the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department received a call about a brush fire in Flatrock.

Crews managed to extinguish the fire.
