Canada Has Been Paying for Harry and Meghan’s Security

Canadian taxpayers have been paying for the security of Prince Harry and Meghan’s security costs since they have arrived in Canada... but that will soon stop.

Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are deemed internationally protected persons, Canada has an obligation to protect them.

As of next month, the couple will no longer use their royal titles and as a result, the RCMP will no longer have to protect them.
