Carbonear starts phase two of Downtown Revitalization Project

Carbonear has commenced Phase Two of the "Downtown Revitalization Project" on Water Street.

The project will include upgrades to the road and sidewalks similar to the first phase.

During this phase, there will be detours in place. Flag persons are on-site to direct traffic.

There is a detour at the intersection of O’Donovan’s Lane and Water Street as well as Bond Street and Water Street.

The road is closed, however, local thru traffic may pass through where possible.
