Counterfeit $100 bills circulating in the metro region

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is advising the general public and businesses about counterfeit Canadian $100 bills being circulated in the metro region.

The bills appear to be movie production money, of poor paper quality, and with spelling mistakes.

The RNC ask if any person or business receives or has a person attempt to pass this as legitimate money, to call the RNC immediately at (709) 729-8000.
