Under the direction of the Town Council, the Town of Deer Lake will be safely and gradually re-opening town operated buildings.

After a COVID-19 cluster in the community forced several facilities to close, things will gradually reopen beginning today.

The Hodder Memorial Recreation Centre will reopen to the public today.

User groups for the recreation centre are reminded to review the safety measures that have been previously established for arenas as outlined on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador COVID-19 website.

The Deer Lake Town Office will resume operations on Monday, December 7th, with staff returning to the office.
