Emergency services unavailable in St. Lawrence

Emergency department services at the U.S. Memorial Health Centre in St. Lawrence will not be available today to Thursday.

Eastern Health cites "human resource challenges" as the reason for the closure.

Patients requiring emergency services should call 911 or proceed to the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre, or the Dr. S. Beckley Clinic in Grand Bank.

Emergency services are expected to resume on Thursday at 8:00 a.m.
