Federal Liberal Party to Announce new Leader today

As of Saturday evening over 140,000 Liberals have cast their ballots for the next Liberal Leader.

There are four candidates running. They are Frank Baylis, Mark Carney, Chrystia Freeland, and Karina Gould.

The leader will be announced this evening. That person will not only become leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, but also Prime Minister.

Trudeau announced back in January that he would be stepping down as leader once a new successor was chosen.
