Female runs from police following theft in centre-city of St John's

On September 26, 2024

Shortly after 12:00 p.m. Officers with the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) responded

to a theft in progress at a business in the center city.

Upon arrival police located the female suspect who was fleeing the area on foot. Officers caught up to the suspect and attempted to arrest her but the suspect was combative. Officers were able to gain control of the suspect and effect the arrest.
