First round of invitations issued for Expression of Interest Model for Economic Immigration

The Provincial Government has issued the first round of invitations for individuals who have submitted an expression of interest to immigrate to the province.

Individuals who are selected have a full-time offer of employment from an employer for a position that responds to a specific labour market demand in the province.

A total of 256 individuals received invitations, including 206 invited to apply through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program and 50 through the Atlantic Immigration Program. Invitees have been informed they are now eligible to apply for nomination or endorsement through those programs.

Future rounds of invitations from the expression of interest pool will be conducted as needed.
