Flurries for most today in Newfoundland, nice across Labrador

Writer: Kyle Sooley-BrookingsKyle Sooley-Brookings

Today is the first day of back to work for many of us.

As you head out the door we are looking at a chance of afternoon flurries for the eastern half of the Island and flurries for the west coast. The west coast could end up with a couple of centimetres of snow. Central will get into the snow tonight with about 5 centimetres expected and the Avalon will see a rain-snow mix tonight.

Fair skies are expected across Labrador but it will be cold.
