Former MHA and Minister Tom Hedderson has passed away

Former MHA and Minister Tom Hedderson died suddenly on Monday. He was 68.

PC Official Opposition Leader David Brazil said in a statement, "he was also one of the nicest people you could ever meet – loved by everyone, both in Harbour Main and around the province."

Hedderson was first elected to the House of Assembly in 1999. He represented the District of Harbour Main-Whitbourne.

He was the minister of several portfolios from 2004 to 2012.

He retired in 2015.
