Fox News announces departure of Tucker Carlson

Fox News has parted ways with Tucker Carlson.

The conservative political commentator has hosted a talk show Tucker Carlson Tonight on the network since 2016.

Carlson has been with the network since 2009, he was a contributor at first.

He had previously been employed at CNN, PBS, and MSNBC.

Until a permanent replacement is found, there will be a rotation of shows in the time slot. No reason was given for the change.

The move comes just a week after FOX News was forced to pay a settlement of $787.5 million in the Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit.
