Fuel prices across Newfoundland and Labrador saw adjustments this week due to fluctuations in market commodity prices and the seasonal transition to spring fuel blends.

On the Island portion of the province, the changes reflected both market shifts and the transition to the spring blend for diesel and furnace oil fuels. The following adjustments to maximum fuel prices were made:

  • Gasoline motor fuel prices decreased by up to 2.8 cents per litre.

  • Diesel motor fuel prices decreased by up to 6.5 cents per litre.

  • Furnace oil heating fuel prices decreased by 4.91 cents per litre.

  • Propane heating fuel prices decreased by 0.3 cents per litre.
