Government Issues a Request for Proposals for the Sale or Lease of Bull Arm Site
The provincial government has announced the release of a Request for Proposals for the possible sale or lease of the Bull Arm Fabrication Site.
The main objective of the Request for Proposals is to ensure that the site continues to be used in a fashion that provides the maximum economic and employment benefit to the people of the province while providing a long-term business opportunity for potential proponents.
After proposals are received and assessed, the government will determine which, if any, of the plans that are forthcoming warrant proceeding to the next significant step of commercial negotiations.
The Bull Arm Fabrication Site is Atlantic Canada’s largest fabrication site. The site was originally developed for the Hibernia project in the 1990s but has played a key role in the development of a number of major projects since that time.
