Government Welcomes Folk Artists to the Province

The province is welcoming folk musicians from across the country this weekend to celebrate the 2024 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Throughout the weekend, showcases will include Folk For Families; Songs and Stories – Songwriter Showcase; Music NL Showcase; and Tradworks – Traditional and Global Roots Showcase.

The award shows, taking place on Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7, at the Majestic Theatre, will feature performances by artists from this province, along with artists from Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Quebec.

Members of the public are welcome to attend these events and tickets can be purchased through the Canadian Folk Music Awards website.
