The GST tax break ends today.

The tax break, from December 14 and February 15, provided a tax relief on food, beverages, restaurants, catering, and other food or drink establishments, children's clothing and footwear, children's diapers, children's car seats, children's toys, jigsaw puzzles, video game consoles, controllers, and physical video games, physical books, printed newspapers, and Christmas and similar decorative trees.

Starting at 12:01 a.m. (local time of the business) on February 16, 2025, resume charging the GST/HST on qualifying goods and services listed above.
