Impaired driver causes collision in St. John's

On Friday evening the RNC responded to a motor vehicle collision in Topsail, Conception Bay South.

Responding officers conducted an investigation at the scene and determined the 28-year-old male operator of one of the vehicles involved was impaired.

The accused has been charged with impaired driving and operation over .80.

The male had his driver’s license suspended and his vehicle impounded. He was released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.
