Is The Simpsons Really Over?

“The Simpsons” fans were shocked and confused by the season premiere on Sunday which was dubbed as the “series finale” of the long-running animated show.

The show is centred in Springfield, in an unnamed U.S. state. The first episode aired on December 17, 1989.

Last night's episode was titled “Bart’s Birthday,” and Conan O'Brien, who was a former writer on the series, stated that FOX had been trying to cancel the series since the first episode.

For fans out there, don't fret, that show was not the series finale. There are other episodes for this season. The show has not yet been picked up for another season.

Tapped Out is really going

One Simpsons thing that is actually ending is the mobile game Tapped Out. The game announced last week that it ends on January 24, 2025 after a 12 year run.
