Joe Biden Becomes 46th President of the United States

Moments ago Joe Biden took the Oath of Office making him the 46th President of the United States.

He was sworn in by Chief Supreme Court Justice John Roberts.

At 1:30 pm Newfoundland time, Biden officially became the 46th president of the United States.

Kamala Harris also took the Oath of Office becoming the Vice President of the United States.

Former US Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama were on hand for the event. Now former Vice President Mike Pence attended the event.

The ceremony took place at the same site where just two weeks ago armed rioters stormed the U.S. Capitol Building.
