Leafs eliminated from playoffs

It's over for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Last night the Leafs lost to the Florida Panthers by a score of 3 to 2 in overtime. Florida won the series 4 to 1 in round two.

The Panthers started strong scoring twice in the first period and once more in overtime. The Leafs scored once in the second and once in the third.

There was some optimism earlier this season when Toronto made it to the second round in 19 years.
