Man taken into custody following incident in Indian Bay

Earlier this morning the RCMP warned of an increased police presence near Pond Road in Indian Bay.

Police advised that there was no current risk to public safety but asked residents to avoid the area.

A short time later a man was taken into police custody. Afterwards, residents were told to resume normal activities.
