Man with life-threatening injuries after assault in Corner Brook

Yesterday afternoon the RNC in Corner Brook responded to a report of an assault after a 54-year-old male presented to Western Memorial Regional Hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The victim is in stable condition.

Police have arrested a 39-year-old male resident of Corner Brook for aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

He will appear in Provincial Court today.
