Marble Mountain Having Good Opening Week

Skiiers and snowboarders are flocking to Marble Mountain since their opening last Thursday.

With all 40 runs open and 3 of 5 lifts operating the mountain has been enjoying perfect conditions over the past could of days.

Mother Nature has been cooperating with more snow and seasonable temperatures. Later this week it looks like a brief warm-up is on the way.

Marble Mountain is the site of the largest alpine ski resort in Atlantic Canada.

The Marble Mountain Ski Resort is known to have some of the best skiing east of the Rockies with an average of 5 m of snow each year, compared to Mont Tremblant's 3.65 m.

On the other side of the province, White Hills Resort is still closed for the time being with an update on March 12.
