Murder suspect arrested in Port aux Basques

Ibrahim Hussein who is accused of murder in St. John's has been arrested at the ferry terminal in Port aux Basques today just before 12 p.m.
RCMP with officers of the RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West arrested the 19-year-old.
He faces charges of first degree murder, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition, careless use of a firearm, and breach of release order.
The accused will be held to appear in Provincial Court in connection with the charges that stem for a shooting on Watson Street in St. John’s Tuesday night where a 33-year-old man died of his injuries.
A second male has been arrested with charges pending.
