No clear winner in British Columbia Provincial Election
It may be the day after election day in British Columbia, but there is still no clear winner.
The NDP are elected or leading in 46 districts while the Conservative Party leads in 45. The Green Party won two seats. The BC United party withdrew candidates to avoid splitting the vote with the Conservatives.
The incumbent New Democratic Party government, led by Premier David Eby since 2022, is seeking a third consecutive term. The primary opponent to the NDP is the Conservative Party led by John Rustad.
