No one sent to hospital following two-vehicle collision in West-End St. John’s

No one was sent to hospital following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Old Pennywell Road and Columbus Drive on Tuesday.

Just before 2:15 p.m on Tuesday, crews responded to Old Pennywell Road and Columbus Drive for a collision. When emergency crews arrived a two-vehicle T-bone collision occurred involving a GoBus and a Sedan.

The Gobus which appeared to only have one person and it’s driver aboard both people in the Gobus did not suffer any serious injuries and were looked at by paramedics. The other vehicle involved and its occupant(s) did not have any serious injuries are were assessed by paramedics at the scene.

Traffic coming down Brier Avenue to go straight onto Empire Avenue was diverted to go right onto Columbus Drive while crews worked.
