UPDATE: Man arrested for impaired driving after collision on Blackhead Road on Sunday

Update: A 67 year old man has charged with with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer He was released to appear in court at a later date.

The occupant(s) of this vehicle were not seriously injured after going off Blackhead Road between Southside Road and Pitts Memorial Driver underpass early Sunday morning.

Just before 1:00 a.m. on Sunday April 27 emergency services were notified of a single vehicle crash that occurred on Blackhead Road. The vehicle involved struck a guardrail and then coming to a stop just feet away from a concrete wall escaping serious injuries.

Traffic is the area was slowed for a moment as emergency services worked on securing the scene.

It is unclear at this time what caused the crash.
