Nova Scotia & Federal Government launch collaboration for offshore wind projects

Offshore wind projects across Atlantic Canada are on the rise.

The government of Nova Scotia, in collaboration with the Government of Canada, is now offering regional assessments along the coast of Nova Scotia for an offshore wind project.

The committee will be engaging with Indigenous groups around the area, as well as provincial and federal authorities, non-government organizations, and the public.

These offshore wind projects are for the ability to give affordable and clean electricity to homes and businesses across the province. It will also help impact the course of climate change.
