One person sent to hospital following a two vehicle collision involving parked car in West End St. John’s on Tuesday

One person was sent to hospital after the vehicle she was operating crashed into a parked car in the West-End of St. John’s on Tuesday.

Moments before 4:40 p.m on Tuesday emergency services were called to the area of Empire Avenue between Winslow Street and Dammerills Lane.

The vehicle which plowed into the back of a parked car located on Empire Avenue then pushing the parked car into a utility pole.

The driver of the vehicle that collided with the parked vehicle was transported to hospital it is unclear what her injuries are at this time.
