One person sent to hospital following a two vehicle crash in St. John’s on Friday

One person was sent to hospital following a two vehicle collision that occurred at the intersection of Leslie Street and Water Street on Friday.

Just before 3:15 p.m on Friday emergency services responded to the intersection of Leslie Street and Water Street. When they arrived two vehicles had collided in what appears to be a head on collision.

One person was transported to the hospital on a stretcher with injuries, it’s unknown what the extent of the injuries are at this moment.

Traffic in the area was slowed as emergency services worked to treat the injured.
