Parks Canada reopens sections of Gros Morne National Park to snowmobilers

Some new snow has allowed Parks Canada to reopen some of Gros Morne National Park to snowmobilers once again.

All areas west of Highway 430 and all areas at less than 350 meters in elevation in Gros Morne National Park remain closed to snowmobiling due to inadequate snow cover.

Areas above 350 meters in elevation are open to snowmobiling.

Parks Canada would like to remind all users that snowmobilers are to stay away from areas with exposed vegetation to prevent damage to vegetation and terrain.
