Pierre Poilievre removed from House of Commons after using term “wacko”

Speaker of the House of Commons Greg Fergus removed Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre from the House of Commons during Question Period on Tuesday after Poilievre used the term “wacko”.

The heated exchange was related to drug use in British Columbia. Poilievre called on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to intervene and ban illegal drugs in British Columbia.

Poilievre had been warned several times by the Speaker for using unparliamentary language and was eventually ejected from the House after refusing to withdraw his comments.
