Power outages on parts of the Avalon

Severe weather has caused power outages in portions of eastern Newfoundland this morning.

There are power outages for Victoria Park, Prince Philip Dr-Elizabeth Ave Area, Paradise, and in Kelligrews on Legion Rd-Ledrews Rd, Battens Rd-Bight Rd, Cluneys Rd-Station Rd, and Station Rd-Anthonys Rd.

There are also outages in Foxtrap/Kelligrews on Minerals Rd-Legion Rd, and in Peachytown on Peachytown Rd-Bight Rd.

The outages are impacting 1,447 customers.

No estimated time of restoration has been provided.

As a result of the outages, St. Edward's School in Kelligrews has a delayed opening of two hours.
