President Biden arrives in Ottawa

U.S. President Joe Biden has arrived on Parliament Hill. Biden was met by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The two will hold talks before Biden addresses the House of Commons later this afternoon.

There will be a joint news conference later this afternoon followed by a state dinner this evening.

First Lady Jill Biden is also in Canada and she was met by Sophie Gregoire Trudeau. The two visited the Rideau Curling Club and the National Gallery of Canada.
