Provincial Government Hosts Successful Mission in Boston, Establishes Office

Recently, Premier Andrew Furey co-chaired the 45th annual New England Governors and Eastern Canadian Premiers Conference and lead a delegation of Newfoundland and Labrador companies, industry associations and officials for a tech and innovation trade mission to Boston, Massachusetts.


The mission focused on clean tech, ocean tech and energy, as well as health tech.


In total, 20 organizations from this province attended the mission and represented the technology sector.


Furey also announced the establishment of a Newfoundland and Labrador office in Boston. The office will be co-located with the Canadian Consulate in Boston.
