Rain, snow, and strong winds to last Newfoundland today #nlwx

It will be a stormy day across Newfoundland with heavy rain expected for southern, northeastern, and eastern Newfoundland, including the Avalon Peninsula. Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm, is expected except up to 80 mm over the Burin and southern Avalon Peninsulas.

15 to 20 cm will fall across the Baie Verte Peninsula. Snow, blowing snow, and strong winds are expected over parts of central and northern Newfoundland where 10 to 20 cm is expected.

Blowing snow will occur across southeastern Labrador from L'Anse-au-Clair to Norman Bay.
