RCMP stop erratic drunk diver

On Sunday the RCMP stopped an erratic driver on the TCH near South Brook following a report from the public.

When police located and stopped the vehicle, the driver provided breath samples three times above the legal limit.

The accused is now facing charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operation while impaired over 80mg%.

The vehicle was impounded and the driver’s license was suspended.
