RNC arrest four after fight on George Street

Four people have been arrested after a fight on George Street in St. John's.

When officers arrived they discovered an injured male who required medical attention. Officers spoke to multiple witnesses, who observed several people assault the injured male.

• A 22-year-old female was charged with assault causing bodily harm, assaulting a peace officer, obstruction, resisting arrest and causing a disturbance. The female was held for court.

• A 21-year-old female was charged with assault causing bodily harm. The female was held for court.

• A 24-year-old male was charged with assault causing bodily harm. The male was held for court.

• A 24-year-old male was charged with assault causing bodily harm and property damage. The male was held for court.
