RNC Seeking Information Following Gunshots

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a weapons offence that occurred in St. John’s on Saturday.

Around 4:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a report of gunshots being fired in the area of Druken Crescent. Responding officers were able to confirm a weapons offence had occurred, however, there was no property damage observed and no injuries reported.

This is believed to be a targeted event. At this time, there is no information to suggest this investigation is connected to a previous weapons offence reported earlier in the day.

Police are seeking any information, or video footage from the area of Druken Crescent, Drugget Place, and Linegar Avenue between 3:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday.
