The Rogues were back at the Mary Brown’s Center last night to open a two game series against the Sudbury 5 in St. John’s
Down by as many as 12 points in the fourth quarter, the Rogues managed to pull ahead by two when Rashad Smith downed three free throws with 18 seconds remaining in the game. The Rogues were then able to hang on to the lead and pulled off a thrilling win 114-110.
Dedrick Boyd was the top scorer for the Rogues with 21 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Rashad Smith finished the night with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 1 assist. Zaahir Woody also had a strong game off the bench with 18 pts, 3 rebounds and 1 assist.
Game two of the series gets underway on Saturday, December 14th at 7:00 pm.
